Time out.
I've said that at least 20 times today. "Sit down, you're in time out. Stop talking, you're in time out. One more time and that's three more minutes added to your time out. Don't make me give you time out again." etc. etc. You think kids would learn after the first three minutes. I think they were out for a total of 12 minutes. That's right, 12 minutes of sitting in a circle under the afternoon sun. Lucky there was a breeze.
So much to do for the Summer Smiles program! I'm actually excited! XD Gotta pick a theme for the kids, make a banner for them... I think I'm gonna make them name tags! :D Unless of course, we're donna do that with them. I can love kids. Nice kids. Not the rowdy, wannabe Jay-Z or Eminem ones that swear after every word. That's just sick.
Oh yeah, we had Bubbies today. Yummy ice cream. <3 Green Tea. Jaylen was cool enough to give us a ride to work. Props to her. Aline and I were teasing Amanda again. What else are friends for? J/k. :P We enjoy tormenting you. (That's our way of saying, "We love you, but we love having fun more") XD *snort* I mean, just playing. I actually snorted twice on purpose just to give Aline a kick.
I dunno if I'm going to work at Software ETC. this summer. Even if I get the job. It's just that I'm committed to MCC right now, and it's most likely going to pay more. I'd only be working part-time at Software and I don't think it's worth it. I mean, the perks are awesome, but learning about how to handle kids is invaluable, I think. I'm still not sure if I'm going to have any but just in case.
Thought AI was on at 8 tonight. Stupid TV made me forget we didn't have daylight savings. So Mom got upset with me and said she should've have listened. She should've checked just to make sure. Ah well. I saw the recap and though I wanted Fantasia to win, it looks like it's going to be Diana. It's all cool, cuz they're both amazing singers. I just love Fantasia because she's so inspirational. She seems so wise beyond her years. Whatever happens, happens.
I'd love to go running. It's just that coming home at around 7 p.m. and having to attend to chores and my siblings kinda drains what little energy I had left in me. I guess I can only do crunches, sit-ups and heck, maybe even push ups for now. Water Training's in two weeks but summer's already here. I am not going to the beach with flab. I'm not obsessed with perfection or anything, but I at least want to be pleasing to someone's eye (hopefully a nice 18-22 male with an equally nice body and personality). Yes, you have to be in shape and amiable. I don't like assholes. C'mon, who does?
Mario, I've finished your fic. I just have to leave a review on fanfiction.net. I'll try and get to that by the weekend. It's awesome, btw.

The Waikikians.
Well, today was fun fun fun! XD Met up with Ryan C., Aline, Amanda, Bobby and Mike at Campus Center at around 8 a.m. Amanda made chocolate-covered strawberries. Yum. But dude, those strawberries were huuuuuuuuuuuuge! Definitely filled me up for breakfast. The new Jamba Juice was supposed to open today. Never did by the time we left at around 10ish. Sad.
Went down to Cheapo's while Aline went to CPB. Bought a book, while Bobby and Mikey filled out application forms. Bussed it to Ala's after.
Played some FFXI at Netwerx and had lunch at the food court. Had Mabu Tofu Don. Took pictures at Jungle Fun. Wanna see?! *kindly directs your attention down*

Afterwards, Amanda and I left for work. Was a nice pleasant walk after the bus ride. I ended up getting the Kindergarteners. Lovely. I tried to be nice, because I can't be mean to little kids unless provoked. I learned afterwards that I have to bite heads off before they listen. Some of them are okay, but there's about 1 or 2 that need to be tied down. There's 1 other who has this need for attention. I don't mind, just behave when I give it to you.
And surprisingly, it took me only an hour to get home. I got to watch both A.I. and the Swan. ^_^ And so, tomorrow I go up to get my TB again because I forgot to go back for a reading last time. Sad. See? I put myself through unecessary pain. XD
Meh. See you all at Netwerx at around 11ish. Gotta return a DVD to Collectors.

That's Taurean stubborness at it's finest. But yeah, I also apologize. Just don't try so hard. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Cha.
I've been meaning to rant. But I do something else and when I get back to doing what I was supposed to, I seem to lose my juice. Maybe I'll remember if the buttons are pushed again.
Ran a mile, walked a mile. Felt good. The hard part is just being consistent and I have the worst consistency EVER. Must feel pain. Must feel pain. Pain is good. Argh! Gotta get in shape!
I start work on Monday. I pray that Software ETC. hires me. I mean, who doesn't want some awesome gamer chick to help them find the USED GAMES section, eh? Not that I'm awesome. >_>;; XD Oh vanity is such a sin of which I am charged guilty. I give myself credit. Just not too much.
I have two fics I want to start writing. Let's see if I can start tonight. I need to release some creative energy.
Stuck in limbo. Blargh. What exactly do I want to say? I dunno. If I open up too much, that makes me vulnerable. Most of the things I share are up for criticism and I'm very sensitive when someone objects to my decisions or choices in life. It makes me feel like I'm in the wrong. And it makes me hate the person. Even if it's someone I consider close. I'm used to being denied what I feel I deserve. But I figure, if I grin and bare it, I'll be rewarded. *shrug* That's my theory. Sometimes you need to go through hell before you get to heaven. And I think I'll cut it here cuz I'm watching American Idol and the bottom two were just revealed.

OMFG. If you've been paying attention or saw last night's show, you should have a pretty good idea of who SHOULD HAVE been in the bottom two, even sent home. But believe it or not ladies and gents, Jasmine Trias is safe. And so is Diana DeGarmo. Latoya London and Fantasia Barrino are in the hot spot. WTF?
I've said it this morning. There will be an uproar if Jasmine didn't go home. I don't hate her or anything, but I think she deserves to go. She seriously needs to work harder if she's going to DESERVE this. But apparently, everyone loves her. I don't blame them. But the votes aren't on talent anymore. It's on bloody popularity. I mean, I can understand the Filipino community of the US plus Hawaii, but really, are there that many of us (Filipinos) in the US? I'm not discrediting her talent in any way, it's just that when you compare her to Latoya and Fantasia and even Diana, she pales while the rest shine.
But for some reason, when Ryan announced that Fantasia was in the bottom, I couldn't help but feel that Jasmine was safe. It's just sad. It's gotten to the point where I have to leave the room during Jasmine's performances because I can't stand to see her not do well like the other three.
It's not her fault really. It's the voting system. It's corrupt. The judges' critiques should account at least for 25% of the decision. Because America has got it wrong. And Jasmine's probably gonna take the heat for it. Sick sad world indeed.
I don't think she even needs to worry about doing well, what with all the votes she's getting. HELLO?! She didn't even land in the bottom two.

Happy thought: Partied with Kaidoh today. Got a skull. Now I can get my sub job! Rode the ferry to Mhaura. I'll just wait for Kaidoh. And I gave him 15k in gil. I can get that back in what, 5 days? XD Damn you level 30. Ah well, congrats. Now you can get the extra job class! *envy*

Tanjoubi.
First of all, thank you Amanda, Aline, Bobby, Robyn, Luke, Shinoyama-kun, Choy-kun, Emily and Saori for making this one of the best birthdays ever. I think it ties with my 16th birthday party. ^_^ Well, almost. LoL. Today was soooo much fun! And I thank you all for celebrating it with me! And to those who couldn't make it, it's alright. I still love you. :)
First of all, I started out the day by cleaning around the house a bit, doing some chores. Then Dad gave me more birthday money before dropping me off at school for my Bio lab practical. Finished that in 30 minutes. Then bussed it to Alaz where the real party began. >=D
Met everyone in front of CPK's. Robyn brought out a lei (Yay! I was so happy to get one! Cuz you know, May Day is Lei Day and its pretty sad if you don't get one when it's your birthday O_o) and Shinoyama did the honors. Thank you. ^_^ Then everyone piled on the presents. ^_______^
But of course, birthdays aren't always about the presents. It's also about the food. I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that the food was awesome. Luke and Bobby ordered the same thing, unintentionally, but since they're rivals they decided to have a little race. ^^;; I think Aline enjoyed making a mockery of the other half of the table. Gomen, gomen. It's all in good fun. She makes life interesting, ne? Ah yes, the cake was on Friday. Bobby got it. It's a tradition now. Heheh. It was strawberry jam on top I believe. Yummy. ^_^
Afterwards, we headed to Ward Theater. Said hi to Mikey on the way. We were going to watch Mean Girls, but arrived a bit late. So we saw 13 Going on 30 which was better than everyone thought it was going to be. Great movie. Bobby, Amanda, Shinoyama and I walked around Ward a bit, eventually ending up at Borders. Bought about $50 worth of manga. Tried to use a store card that worked for Waldens only. Oopsie. Hahah. ^^;; I can't help it if the two stores are so similar! XD After Bobby and Amanda left, Shinoyama-kun and I went to a cafe and had something to drink and chatted. Thanks again Ryan, for waiting with me for my dad. I hope your bus didn't take too long to come. ^_^
After Ryan left, I went back to Borders and sure enough, Dad was there in the music section. Hung around for a while then went home. Oh yeah, Mom called 3 times to wish me Happy Birthday. 1 out of those 3 she got through. ^^;; <3 Mom.
And I lived happily ever after.

Today went well, surprisingly. It was one of those days that could've been shot to hell, but thankfully that was prevented. ^_^ Everything works out for a reason, eh?

Found out Dad's going to go to Japan for 2 years, so the family can stay here. Cool. We can visit him for free. The gears in my head are turning. ^_^ Oh the possibilities! And I can still attend Kawaii-kon! XD
Also saw The Passion of Christ today. Beautifully done. Props to Mel Gibson and cheers to Jim Cavaziel, whom I first fell in love with in the Count of Monte Cristo. Brilliant actor indeed. The movie left me so fulfilled at the end. I'm very satisfied.

Let me be selfish...
The title says it all.
I want to go to Japan. I mean, who doesn't? I'm not only just going there... I'm going to live there. For a while, at least. When I first found out, it was like a dream come true. I would've never imagined myself going to Japan in a looooooong time, much less living there. Yeah, even with Amanda planning the trip and all, it was still a big question for me.
So please, try and understand and look at it from my point of view. I might not be going to school for a while, but I'm sure as hell not going to sit around and wait for anything to happen. :) I might get a job on base or become a translator... I just want to soak up as much of Japan as possible. I'm ready for a change of scene.
Remember, nothing has been decided yet. Robyn, thank you so much for offering me the room. Aline and Bobby, thanks for caring so openly. XD It means a lot. Amanda, you probably understand the situation the most. I swear, we must be on the same wavelength. XD Yeah, thanks for seeing the sense (and gain!) in all this. :)
Even if I don't go to Japan and end up going to Italy... Please keep in mind that I actually want to go there too. Either place serves as a catalyst to me. Either place, things are going to happen and I'll turn them to my favor. I'm determined to make the most of this.

Past three days have been stressful. I can't wait till tomorrow ends. Well, not really, cuz Dave has to go back home. Ah well. Hopefully he'll be back soon. But goshdarnit, stupid Bio Lab tomorrow. *grumble* At least I'm ready for it. Yay. >_> Freaking paper and presentation due the same day. YAMA! YAMA TO YOUR FACE! (directed at no one in particular)
